How To Get A Discount On Eharmony
I just got scammed by eHARMony
eHarmony pricing fraud, actual cost of services over TWENTY-THREE times (23x)+ what was deceptively advertised!!!
TLDR - Eharmony falsely advertises a '50% off' (via a Special 23-hour 'Offer') when in fact the user still pays precisely full price when it’s all said and done. Under the illusionary $22.95/month (supposedly discounted from the regular $45.90/month) the user still ends up paying exactly the full amount of the non-discounted regular plan anyway! Not only that, to make matters worse, while eHarmony gives the misleading signal of an initial discount ('$22/month for first three months and then $45.90/month') in actuality eHarmony does exactly the opposite/reverse and frontloads the charges and it is actually $128.44/month for the first three months plus an additional $128.44 initial signup fee! So not only is the customer not saving a single penny, the customer is actually paying eHarmony on a much earlier accelerated payment schedule whilst simultaneously being pitched the misrepresentation/lie of precisely the opposite case! (that the customer would be initially paying 50% less for the first three months and billed then at the normal rate after that) In point of fact this illusionary fake discount is so arbitrary that for all intents and purposes Eharmony might as well have equally said it was a 90% off for the first 3 months at $4.59/month and then $59.67/month thereafter and it would end up being exactly the same hat trick. In all three instances the customer is still ends up paying the full total non-discounted price of $550.80, the only difference being unlike other dating sites and services that spread out the monthly payments equally, eHarmony gets to get their money first (all of it within the first three months of a twelve-month plan) while turning around and making it seem that they are actually giving the user a steep discount of “50% off” for the first three months in which they wouldn’t have to pay the full monthly fee until much later!
